Here in the Happy Lab we are seeking wisdom on forms of happiness that are regenerative in three areas: (1) Land, (2) Human and More-than-Human Communities, and (3) Human and More-than-Human Individuals. We draw on applied theories and practices of happiness, regenerative and assets based development, traditional knowledge, permaculture, natural building, integrative healing arts, and applied shamanism. Our research and work are relational as a process of attending to the regenerative happiness of those we serve. We collaborate and co-create with local students, residents, institutions, and organizations in search of processes that can be applied by similarly situated universities to promote regenerative happiness. Check out our people, our project partners, and research for more information!
Our work is guided by one fundamental research question:
1. What are the conditions of a University based program seeking to support the regenerative happiness of those it serves?
