Two of our students, Heidi and Kellie, put this video together to commemorate our weekend on the Black Mesa Reservation in September 2018. Black Mesa is home to Hopi and Navajo tribes – many who lack necessities like clean water, fresh produce, and dignified housing. We travel to Black Mesa every month to complete projects. Our goal this month was to build an earthen bread oven for the kind people who live there.
